alpine cda-9835 crossovers...question

You've got the 3 way setting with the 9835 but I don't know if that would protect you good enough from damaging your tweeter. I would just run the correct passive crossover as its designed and set you hu crossover appropriately. My 9835 is set on 2 way as I could not get the 3 way to sound the way I wanted.

The 3 way setting does have a setting for the highest frequencies, but I'm still not certain you can do what you are wanting with just the 9835 crossover. Hopefully others will chime in.

The cutting it off part is what I'm confused about now. The speakers in my car have two wires coming off of them but I would only have one wire on...
