Alpine CDA-9835 and 9833

exactly, and if you're smart you'll go w/the 9813 last yrs model has all the same options as far as performance. ITS YOUR BEST BET AS FAR AS MONEY.

i did a comparison w/all 4 models 9813 9815 9835 9833 and they are all the same performance wise (looked up the specs & the only different thing is the color, location of the button, and how many lines are on the display)

Limitkid is right on the money.... I did exactly what he mentioned and found the CDA-9813 to be the best bang for the buck. I picked mine up at a local CC for under $300.00. Couldn't be happier with it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/clap.gif.178cba2c538c68e720c727fcb024b19c.gif

Well, the 9815 does have i-personalize..........not too sure about what's on the 9833/35.

I do still have my 9815 for sale, btw. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

9813 has it too......
No, no it doesnt..........

you're right........

BUT w/the eq you can adjust it to the same settings anyways, alpine may have good settings but remember, its all in the ear of the listener......

besides it has bass engine pro just like 9815 does .......

eh if one wants to pay the extra 100-150 bucks just to be able to download stuff off the net fine, i'm just saying that as far as 99% of the features for these models, you get all of them (except the download feature off alpine website) on the 9813

There is a huge difference between the 9833 and the 9835. I went out and picked up a 9833 when they first came out about two weeks ago. It was nice I played with it for a while but I wasn't as happy with it as I was with my 9815, I was actually trying to trade or sell my 9833 and get my 9815 back. Well I went to a local dealer and started playing with the 9835 and I was blown away, long story short I sold my 9833 and bought a 9835. You may say so what it's the difference is only in the display but wow what a difference. The display on the 9835 is well worth the extra $100 that you pay, it is amazing. If you don't believe go to a local alpine dealer and play with both of them, you'll see what I'm talking about once you do.

That is my point exactly.

Yeah the 9835 is about 100 bucks more but it has all the features just like the others plus a really nice display and the ability to download from Alpines site.

If I was strapped for cash then yes the 8913 will do.

I was already willing to buy a $1200-1400 tv/dvd/cd in dash unit earlier so now that I have decided to go with the 9835 too me I'm already svaing a huge amount of money.

i guess so.......... justed to make sure you're aware of things before you buy...

there's no shame in spending extra money when you know what you're getting, but when your just getting it b/c its a 'new model' sometimes people are fooled...

just helping ya out..

Well, it's offical.

My cda 9835 is on it's way and is the last piece to the puzzle for me. I found one on ebay at a great price, no on else had it in stock.

Hopefully I have everything installed by the end of the beginning of the week.
