Alpine CDA-7893

I have a question for whoever can answer. I am interested in buying the Alpine CDA-7893. I am confused though as to whether or not it can play mp3's or not. I have many CD's that are either fully or partially mp3's, but I don't know whether this CD player will play them. My stock system in my 2000 z24 will play mp3's burned onto a CD-R/RW. My mom's 96 windstar will do the same. I just don't know. HELP!!!!!!!! thanks

It will play CD/R but not with mp3 songs
