I can get the clarion dxz825 for around $260, the apline cda-7893 for around $280, and the pioneer deh-p9300 for around $350. Please help me decide which head unit to buy.

It really depends on the features that you want. They all seem to have nice features to them. I can say that I have the Pioneer DEH-P9300 and Im quite happy with it. Just try to figure which features are the most important to ya. Good luck with your choice!

well i want a head unit with a nice equalizer built in, how's the eq on the p9300? i know that the clarion and pioneer head unit has one built in, but the alpine doesn't.

i didn't notice the alpine featured the mediaxpander. can you explain more on what it does. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

It's got a nice eq it even comes with a microphone so that it can sense your vechicle's acoustics and auto set it up for you but it's just 1 way you can do it.

out of all those i would say go with the 9300 i have it for another 7hours or so in my car b/c i'm taking it out to put my 940 premier in. the only reason i upgraded mine is b/c i wanted the 6volt output instead of 4 and the old p1r crossover network so i can run 300watts rms to my componets without frying em hehe. anyway i'd go with pioneer personally i hate anything alpine and clarion is alright.
