Hi guys,

i just finished installing my cda-117 headunit. the radio works fine, all the speakers in the truck are working properly. however there is no audio when i play a cd (ive tried burned cd's and real cd's). the headunit realizes the disc is in, you can move through the tracks, it reads the name of the songs , just no sound!

samething is happening when im using the auxillary port, no sound.

i have adjusted the settings for cd playback to play mp3/wma/cdda , etc...

i have no other idea at this point.

hope someone can shed some light on this for me!

I'm hoping to find someone who might be able to repair this head unit. The faceplate doesn't slide out at all.

The cutting it off part is what I'm confused about now. The speakers in my car have two wires coming off of them but I would only have one wire on...
