alpine amp help.

I have 2 alpine pdx -1.1000 hooked up to 4 type Rs (2 a piece). a couple of days ago while driving my subs turned off while i was listening to music. all of the fuses are good. the light on the amp is on. the fuse in my 0 gauge wiring kit is good. i also have a pdx-4.100 hooked up to all of the same wiring as the other two amps, and that works perfectly fine. i checked all the wiring and rca's everything is perfect. ive had this system for about 8 months and never had a problem. any ideas?

how are the subs wired up. in series make sure you have a closed circuit at the amp, just cause the amp is on dosent mean you didnt blow it, if the amp dosent go in protect most of the time its a power supply problem, the actual amp isnt turning on but the lite comes on because its powered by the remote on.

OP, are you 100% certain there's no issue with your remote wire? Sometimes the simplest things are the culprit...

yea everything is fine. like i said, i had it hooked up the same for about 8 months and then it just quit on me mid song.

Did you check the speaker wire inside of your enclosure? Maybe it came loose from the terminal cup or the sub.

Like I said, sometimes the simplest things cause problems...
