Yes, they're programs and they're also FREE.And they are what? I understand what they do now, but are they programs? Where can I get them?
EAC should look those up automatically from the CDDB or Freedb when you insert the disc. Assuming you're connected to the internet that is. Go into the "Database" tab and drop down to the "Get CD Information From" and select "Remote Freedb". This should look it up for you.thanks for the link, i am ripping my first CD with this software right now, do i need to still manually update names of artist, album and songs for my ripped mp3s?
cool, i will try that on my next disc, it didn't do it automatically for the first one. so i had to manually enter the info for each track.EAC should look those up automatically from the CDDB or Freedb when you insert the disc. Well that depends mostly on your drive. I have a DVD writer and DVD rom. The DVD rom is much faster at ripping than the DVD writer is. But yeah, it's all about accuracy and not so much about speed. If I'm ripping more than a few tracks off a disc I start it and then start doing something else around the house while I'm waiting.the process for ripping an album takes a good chunk of time huh?
