Good Morning everyone,

I'm kind of in a jam, I just installed my system but it appears the SW out is not working on my Alpine 9887 deck. I can hook up my mp3 player to the rca cables and the sub plays and I can also move the rca's to the Front or Rear channel rca's on the HU and the Sub will start working when I turn the Internal Amp. I also have Subwoofer option turned to "On" on the deck, so I don't know what the heck else it could be??? So I am tripping or does it appear the SW Out on the Alpine deck doesn't work???

Thanks for any help, I really appreciate it. I have an appt at 10 am today to get my IMPRINT Software installed and I really need my Subwoofer working. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

UPDATE: Well turning up the subwoofer volume to +15 has had it start moving some, I'll need to make sure my gains are right.........

Thanks for any help you can provide!

hey crack head did you turn the sub output on on your deck I know you can get a little high and forget that kind of isht so put the pipe down and try that lol I tried to call you but you did not answer

Did you even read my post big brother, your the crackhead sigh...

Well it's playing but I have to crank up the volume pretty dang high to get it really hitting (and that's with the gains up 3/4), WTF. Argh....

BUMP! I have the IMPRINT software update (which is a great improvement in sound quality) but is there any to get my sub woofer louder with the volume not blaring?? The sub really starts pounding at 18+ but my preferred listening volume is usually around 12-16. I have the Bass +5, the Sub +15 and my fader -5 to the back and my gain has to be set to 7/8 for this to happen, which is fine because I won't reach my peak volume anyways but still, I would think 600+ watts would hit f-ing harder, LOL.

Any help would be greatly appreciated but maybe this is just how things are, just weird because I feel like my 10 inch kicker (made for the Dodge Neon) with 100 watts sounded just as hard at my preferred volumes, lol. maaaaaaan.

UPDATE:

I folded down the seats and it's hittin' haaaaaaaaaaard. I think driving at higher speeds and the engine nose is helping too since I have to turn the volume up louder. Still, it's a tad louder than I would like inside but oh well, I'll deal with it. And no one is replying to help anyways, lol, but my big bro and he ain't ish anyways but a noob like me. One luv!

yeah I will give you your one love at least now you figured out that you have to wire your speaker right with the dvc after you ran it with the dual voice coil wired correctly did that help or is it still have to be loud as uckf or after you figured that out you just aint sayin isht cause you know you are a bone head

It's the same as my last update genius and you should talk big brother, you have been rolling around for months now with blown front speakers, must be fun!!
