alpine 9887 help

I don't know too much about the hertz crossovers but to be safe I would set a highpass filter around 60-80hz or so just to seperate the lower frequencies from the mids and the sub(s) Either on the HU or the amp.

I can't quite remember how or if this is possible though in 2-way since mine has been active since. Shouldn't hurt anything running full pass but will clean things up a but so the sub and the mids aren't playing the same frequencies making peaks.

If the hertz crossover already cuts the lower frequencies then you should be good, but it won't hurt.

Either set the mid (front RCA out IIRC on the 9887) HP to 60-80hz or leave that alone and set the Sundown to 60-80hz HP. Do one or the other, but either will work.
