Alpine 9886 - Bought BNIB in June. Still have box and original paperwork. Flawless HU, no scratches what-so-ever. Comes with remote, harness, trim ring, cage, keys, box/paperwork, Ipod cable and some other cable. This is by far the best HU i have ever used and im staying with Alpine but im going old school.

And im getting a great deal on it. It actually used to be LA_CRX's and im buying it from the guy he sold it to. And i got a DD comp set from CRX.

Also i think for the 9887 you need to Imprint it as well.

not sure bout the 9887 i know the cheapest i found on ebay is 130 for buy it now or you can bid on one only 2 days left and at 26 bucks might get that pretty cheap

9887 is the "lowest" current model that'll run active without Imprint. I'm pretty sure there is a module that will allow 4 way active through the 9887, and probably more EQ features. I don't know about the expandability of the 9887 since I've never ran one before. This 9886 is a great unit, I've used a couple of them. Great price on it too...

I knew there was an imprint for it but i didnt know if it could already go active.

I believe the imprint for this makes it active and opens it to a 5 or 7 band EQ
