Alpine 9880 USB problem

I have 2 identical Kingston 2GB Data Traveller memory sticks.

I used one with succes into my 9880 but sometimes i get the message "UNSUPPORTED" or "ERROR" while playing!

When i try to use the other stick it doesn't recognize it at all.I get a message saying "NO USB INPUT" and nothing changes whatever i do(plug or unplug the stick).

They told me from service to format the stick to FAT32.I did it and nothing changed.The stick works fine in a Pioneer unit and in PC's.

Should i change the stick or the Alpine is defective?
