Can you run this headunit with only 2 speakers? (i have pug106 planning getting some 13cm components for each door) sorry if its a totally newb question just wanting to make sure.

At a later date im probably going to put stealth shelf in with 6x9s or 17cm speakers.

Yes, you can just hook up 2 speakers. A lot of people will tell you not to bother with any rear speakers, spend the money on better front ones instead. In my truck I just have 2 speakers hooked up and a sub beneath the rear seat.

You might want to look into getting a 4 channel amp and a sub to go in the boot, hook your front speakers up to Ch 1 and 2 and bridge channels 3 and 4 to power the sub. Most 6 x 9's are crap.

Yes im considering getting an amp anyway simply because clean power ive heard allows you to crank the volume to higher levels without distortion. So ive decided eventually to invest in an amplifier.
