you could wire a toggle switch on the illum. wire and choose when you want it dimmed or not.

I am having the same problem to. My bass is set at 15 and my gain settings are 3/4's up to max. Anyone find out what the problem is?? Can someone show me step by step on how to set the bass eq settings up to. I lost my manuel so Im freaking stuck!!!

turn down subwoofer knob on your deck, turn up bass boost knob on your amp more like 50% then adjust subwoofer knob on your deck (should probably be set @ like 5).

What about if I have the headunit turned to the max but the system can still handle more.

actually i'm not but it does depend on the products & power w/in the car.

in my setup i have noticed 2 different things when having it w/ bass boost down & gain set where controlling sub w/sub volume on deck

compared to

doing what i stated above, and obv. i just recommended that so we see where my preference is...
