Alpine 9815 or 9813

My car just recently got broken into and they stole my old alpine cda-7873 along with my amps and sub. so i'm in the process of rebuilding. I was wondering if the price differences is truely justified between the 9815 & 9813. I don't really need the internal amp but the 7995 doesn't have the eq with i'd really like to have. unless the eq does affect the outputs, but i assume it does.

Also sounddomain has the MB Quart PWD254 sub on sale for 100 bucks, i was wondering if this sub is any good. other wise i was gonna get some blaupunkt odwa1500(no one has probably heard of them). and if anyone has a us acoustics usx1000 or 800 they want to get rid of, i'm right here. thanks.

i just installed my 7995 yesterday and its a really awesome deck. an EQ will not make a difference it output, but it will help in tuning the sound to fit ur car. My friend has a 9815 and i honestly like mine better because it has all the needed feeatures but not a bunch of nonsense features. the 9815 just has too many pointless features.

I havent heard the MBQuart but for 100 bucks u cant go wrong. Check the Classfields section for amps for sale.

for the 7995 crutchfield.com has them on sale for 300 bucks with free shipping, free wiring harness and antenna adapter.

I'd probably go with the 9813. If you have the cash ... there's nothing wrong with the 9815 either. I do however like the aesthetics of the 7995.

Either way, you can't loose by getting any of the aforementioned decks.

If you don't need the internal amp I'd say go for the 7995.

anyone with the 9815 or 13 really like the eq. thats really the only reason i'd get the 9815 or 13 over the 7995. cause i don't need the internal amp since i'll be using a us acoustics usx4065. money not really that much of an issue. i just wanna get something really nice that's gonna have everything i'm gonna need for the next few years. i loved my old alpine which i would have probably kept if it was stolen...bastards...

from what i know, the only big difference between the 9813 and 9815 are the lighted buttons and the display. green for the 9813 and blue for the 9815. the 9815 has pixel display. other than that, all of the internals/functions should be the same. if i were you, i would get the the 9813 and take advantage of the eq and the variable electronic crossover.

i was goin to get a 7995 for x-mas but they place we got mine said it was discontinued so i had to get a 9811 instead its gettin inststalled tomarrow so ill tell ya how that goes

The 9815 only has 2 lines of text displayed - I have it...

It's a nice player..if you don't mind spending money go for it, i think i've seen some places selling it for 360 or so now...but either unit will do the job your looking for i'm sure..
