Hello everyone,
This is my first time posting!!! So nice to meet everyone.
So here's my deal.
I have a 1992 Buick Regal (2dr) with 4-way 6x9's in the rear and small components in front. Those are amped with a 1000w 4 channel amp. Just recently I bought an Alpine R 12" 4ohm dual coil sub and will be using an alpine 1000w mono amp (600w at 4ohm) I think the model number is MRP-M1000. I also have a 1.3 cubic foot sealed box.
I can still return everything and wanted to check with the people that know if I got the right things. I listen to classic rock and some rap. I like a good crisp clean sound. I am looking for a punchy bass hit and NOT the ratten your brains out along with every loos piece of your car. I know the amp is pretty beefy for the one sub, but I figured over powering it will give me a better sound.
Thoughts on how best to set everything up and/or did I get the right stuff. Think it will sounds good?
Thanks for the help everyone!!
