Yes. Search. Lots of topics on this.

It will get louder, and sound better (in the case of the type R) but make sure you do it right.

Don't buy a prefab on ebay...make your own or have someone here make it. Ideal size would be 2.2-2.4 ft^3 and tune to 33hz.
