i need help wirring up this sub to an alpine mrp 350 mono amp. right now i think it might be wrong.

its got 12 guage split to 16 gauge, one positive to each positive terminal and one to each negative.

its a four ohm sub, of coarse you guys would know this, and need to know if that wire is to small for it also
