2 L7's arnt that expensive ya know, i tried sellin mine b-4 for only $100 + shipping and i'v seen many others on the forum for 100-140ish

lol... but really... I just dont have the $200 + to drop on subs right now... Mainly because im at college most of the time while my car sits at home...

If i were to find a great deal on them (I mean GREAT) i would definitely scoop em up... But that hasnt happened

Maybe i do need a new box. Was the $300 remark in regards to TCAB boxes? I don't know if i can throw that much money at a box....

Right now they're in 2 cubes each, inluding the ports but not the speakers, tuned to 30hz. It's a prefab, a company called subzone, but it's exactly the specs i wanted, so there was no sacrifice there, and the insides of the ports are even rounded.

It's possible i need to revamp my tuning, because they do sound awesome on some songs. It's also just possible i'm having a hard time adapting to the super low bass from the x's, opposed to the more conventional 40-60hz bassfest i'm used to with my prior setups.

It's ALSO possible i need to upgrade my alty, as well. When i was setting my gains with my o-scope, i noticed the waves started getting wobbly, before they ever got around to getting clipped, so maybe that's a sign of undercurrent to the amplifier?

well **** vid must come tomorrow got over to the church parking lot and they start complaining before the camera was even on something about a sermon or even who has something like that on a tuesday well i wanted some suop so i went up to the albertsons parking lot and fond out my camera didnt have the cf card in it so all i gained from it was some soup and a blown bypass hose.

^^And my intention was not to replace or bash the x's, they're great speakers, but with my budget, my electrical system, and current amplifier, i could get much louder with the kickers for a loud, sloppy summer setup.

I just kinda left my mind open-ended to 'if the kickers sound that much nicer than i remembered....' then maybe, maybe...

Stopped by the local car audio shop today, they told me they'd design and build me a box for my car for $160 after tax. He made some measurements of the ride, and told me there's ~12cf total space to work with back there, so he said 4.5 x 2 @ 38hz is doable for $160.....

So anyways, my curiosity is peaking now that i know i can fit a legit dual 15" L7 into the ride, so what's the best price i can get on a 06S15L7? I've found them for sale online for $260ish, i don't want to do business over ebay again, the experiences i had trying to get the gear i have so far was terrible, waited over 2 months for my kenwood amp, and my type-x's to arrive.

What reputable shop has the best price on them online?

Is 4.5net each, 900w rms on each going to slam? Anyone have any objections to giving this a whirl? I want to know what you think!
