And the only alarm on the car was the factory alarm that comes with it. I know I know...bad me. I'd been spending the dough on the system and neglected an integral part. Not happening again.

well look at it this way, if you would of dropped 600 in the first place for that alarm you wouldn't have to be worryiing about any of this now.... how exactly did they break into your car anyway?

I have the Viper 791 in my car, great alarm. If I had the chance though I would have gotten Clifford's G5 Avantguard.

been there also. got my windows shot out by people seeing if i had an alarm or playin around.. new car, good alarm. will be doing install this weekend. good luck with yours!

Python 881XP or 581XP, pricey but well worth it, i put the 881xp on my car and love it. Two way pager is a must and it has endless upgrades, (sensors, sirens, etc)

I;m going with the compustar 2 way. Middle one (1500 feet). $500. Becuase I have a 2000 Grand Prix..I guess there's an extra $80 charge for something extra that needs to be done to get the remote start to work.

Getting whole system and alarm installed today. I may see if they'll deal and get the top of hte line one.
