Im from Durban South Africa and my first time on this forum.
I tried helping my dad installing some audio in his Mitsibishi Colt 2007 Double cab.
What he has:LG deck with front and rear outputs;Lanzar opti 2channel baby;Lightning audio bolt B2.250.1 to power Lanzar 10 150rms sub(old school);lanzar tri-axle speakers in the back doors.Using factory speakers in front doors.
Problem is that as soon as you start the vehicle the sound just goes low/scratchy jumps around or just disapears in the back doors.The sub doest seem to do this, why I dont know, its just the highs in the back doors that go all haywire.When the radio is on(connected to acc)its all fine even when the ignition is on,but when you crank it:verymad:
Ok im not using shielded rca,s(dont think thats the problem since ive connected different sets straight to the lanzar amp).I also tryd using a negative straight to the bat,earted the deck to a proper earth.Checked if any speaker wires were touching the body-nothing.Amps are grounded to front seat bolts.What could it be?
I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could help me out since its driving me up the wall.Ive spent many hours trying to figure it out and im just out of options now.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
