All digital head units

I can't decide between the following for my 02 'Hoe

Alpine iDA-X305S

I've owned a few Alpine head units in my day, and have always been happy with them, and I really like the look of this unit, but I feel like the screen is smaller than it needs to be. I also like the Pandora ready functionality. I use the app on my phone extensively.

Pioneer MVH-P8200BT

This looks nice and clean, but lacks the full color LCD screen, and I have read reviews of the buttons being unresponsive and the head unit itself being slightly hard to navigate while driving. I have never owned a Pioneer head unit, so I don't know of its quality.

Kenwood KIV-BT900

I've messed around with this head unit at Best Buy, and it feels nice and responsive, loads quickly and the screen is clear, clean and easy to navigate. The full iphone functionality is a must, and this meets all my requirements (excluding Best Buy's horrible price) but I am slightly skeptical. I have owned two Kenwood products in my day, one being a home audio receiver and the other being a head unit for my Explorer. Both were of poor quality and the sound out of them was noticeably worse than factory. Reviews I have read have given this one pretty solid reviews, so I am including it on my list.

Clarion FZ700

All my friends rave about their Clarion units and their sound quality, so I figured I would include this on my list. I am not sold on the touch sensitive panel, but it looks nice and seems like it functions well. Reviews online have been mostly positive, but I dislike the lack of LCD screen.

Definately need some help deciding, and if I left something out or you have a suggestion, please feel free to post it. I have a 02 Tahoe with a Double DIN and the stock stereo has completely gone out. I will be upgrading the audio one step at a time, starting obviously with the head unit.

Try to keep any suggestions under the $500 range, I am not looking for a top of the line DVD ready Navi system.

Why not put a nice double DIN in it...It only takes a few minor mods.....and looks way better

Do you have any with full iphone support to recommend? I am trying to keep the price down so I can afford a decent set of speakers and sub down the road, but I will definitely take any recommendations into consideration.

Is it on par with the excelon (sp?) series? The older Kenwood head I had was terrible in terms of sound quality/build quality.
