Yeah its really a daily setup to begin with, its not a farbox like I usually cook up. **I** dont like it cause im spoiled by having an 18" sub, so right now im outside sanding my burnt to a crisp box to re-resin the inside and fix all the water damage from me pouring out grape flavored bottled water on my sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

you're right tuning lower for daily is better for music in general, but I personally like a little more SPL than SQ anyways.

as far as the grape flavored water, thats all i had in the jeep at the time of the 4hp fire so i was lucky to even have that around to pour on the sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif I take it in humor to torch a $1200 sub, but really its not a joking matter really - I could of lost my whole jeep in the fire really really easily.

what are the consequences of higher tuning? low bass doesnt hit as good?
