Here it is as promised, my testing of a single mag 12 d2 wired to 1 ohm powered by my Adassa Warlord 5kw amp. Box is tuned to 43 hz, but we got our best burp (pictured termlab score below) at 47 hz, which is probably attributed to cabin gain / resonance.

here is a few shots of the jeep before the video, with SPLnut (Melonvr911 on here) helping out with the tests.

Chevy audio put my Mag 12" and Memphis 1000d in yesterday...We were hitting 143.3 on young jeezy for a 30 sec average. On a peak hold music run we were at 145.8....

Actually no, its not all that big...its only 2" tall by 15" wide

And yes, I was using only one mag, so my score is pretty good for just one, and if I had another one in there im sure the score would of creeped around 150 easily.

So I suppose yet another validation that the Mag's perform well as an SPL driver.

in theory wouldn't you only get 6db with another driver and double the power?

that'd probably be around 150 for burps, but a bit under with music.

any idea how much Ben's gonna charge for that mag?

I used an Adassa Warlord 5kw amp. As tested by Steve Milton of Digital Designs, a modest 3675 watts at 12 volts with the car off. In theroy you're somewhat right, but the real world application of subs in a SUV with internal loss and resonances will only maybe yield a couple of more DB on average.

But no, I have no idea what he's going to sell it for....but usually in the past its %30 off, but dont hold me to that.
