Air Ride Technologies

I have a body kit on my car... looks like I have to be a bit more careful.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif
My friend has EAI cylinders, he claims they're "awesome" but cylinders just plain **** balls. (At least from what i've experienced).

Cylinders are NOT meant for automotive use. Eventually, they WILL fail.

Air Struts would be the only way to go, if you have a sport compact. Most big bodied cars can have 2500lbs all the way around. (caprice, impala... really anything with a true frame, not a unibody)

not doubting, but if they are not meant for cars, how are they safety rated to be legally installed and sold....once again, not doubting, just asking.

Me too, sorta...
[Threadjack bord of arguing about bag parts]

BTW, Nice Box plans....

Looking at the ones in your sig...

They look pretty cool...Thats something I **** at.... I can figure out Square and Cubic feet all day, but I couldn't tell you a **** thing about designing a port or vent...

I know what they are for and what they do, but the tunning is just over my head.... Could be that I **** at Higher level math... But either way, I'm clueless..

thanks, thats just my basic work, ive learned a little more since i have started. higher level math is just a lot of lower level math together.........

Ask Mike at Gravity Werx. He'll explain it all in detail.

And they are NOT safety rated.

Check This thread and read Mikes Response.

This thread made me miss my 6-4 imp!

Oh yeah, I was one of those ones that just drove it to the ground, but didnt do it. I stay away from hydro's, cylinders, air. But mang I could drive the shit out that car. Was more of an attraction, like a ride at a theme park than it was a car. That is why I got rid of it. I miss it now, after about 8 years. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

when i first got my lisence i built a 93 toyota standard cab...shaved doors, mirrors, antenna...built the motor a bit, had 3/8 firestone 2500lb bags up front and 2 2600s in the rear, with a custom tubular bridge with 8 smc 3/8s valves, 2 viar 450 comps, now that was a badass first whip....i love air-ride...im more into oldskool stuff like old caddys, impalas, stuff along that lines with SLLOOOOW air
