Air Filter Cleaner

On my aftermarket intake, I just took it out, cleaned the dust off with a air chuck, then used the hose and washed it out.

Of course mine is waterproof, and I didn't want to buy cleaners. But if you do that, make sure it is COMPLETELY dry before reinstalling it.

only if you use too much oil...
Actually NO. Have had alot of newly installed K&N filters on some ford vehilces crap out the Mass Air Flow sensors. Most likely its just crapy ford products but seems to happen fast on fords than other cars.

I'd recommend k&N recharge kit on a k&N filter simply because thats what i use. As for the recharge on an aftermarket filter, i don't know.
