I LIKE SOUND!!!
So I've been wanting to make an enclosure with a kerft port for a few months now. I finally get a chance to start building it this past weekend. I've been practicing making the cuts for the keft, to make sure I get the cuts correct before I start building one for show. Yesterday I put the sides up on the box and today I started on my baffle; I finish the cuts and they are perfect. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif The piece of 3/4" mdf bends with no cracks or nothing. I clue it and tie some screws to hold it in place while it dries before I add resin. looks beautiful, I pick it up and carry it to the box to test fit....S.O.B I started the keft too early.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif The front baffle is about 2.5" too short (sorry for the sucky pics)...I couldn't believe it. Perfect cuts and I screwed up on the measurements. Not too upset about it tho, I was using some scrap materials from a previous build, //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Anyone have any advice for next time?
