ok guys i have a problem.... i have 2 pioneer subs (the impp kind with the blue and black dust cap that say 400 watts on them) and i have them in a box thats about 2 cubes. i have a volfenhag amp that puts out about 250 watts to each sub and i have the low pass filter on. i have all my wires done right and every thing. but when i turn my volume up i cant hear a thing! i mean the subwoofer is moving like crazy and i cant hear ne bass from the sub.... can someone tell me what my problem could be?

You're ears are covered?

Ummm....hmmm.....maybe your box has a massive air leak? Maybe the subs are out of phase with each other?

Is the problem you can't hear any bass in the cabin of the car, or any bass from them period, even if you are standing right next to them?

i have a hatch.... the subs are pointing tward the rear of the car... and even when im next to the subs i can barley hear ne bass! could it be the box is too big? no that cant be it cuz when i bridged one of them it hit hard..... i dont understand this... lol

You have the polarity wrong one one of the subs, double, triple, quadruple check you speaker polarity.

When out of phase, one sub moves opposite of the other sub and cancels out all the bass.

Check you're speaker connection polarity.

One of my MTX's was like that from the factory. You can see the red wire coming from the VC to the black terminal. Took me about 2 hours of looking and going crazy to find that shit. I keept thinking "Black=negative. WTF AM I DOING WRONG!!!"

so u mean that i have to put the neg. into the pos?.....
well Kinda...

The red wire(+) coming from the vooice coil has the black terminal(-) on it, and vice versa. So depending on how I have to wire it, I might have to.

Just double check the wire not the terminal and make sure thats not whats happening to you.
