AHHHHH my trunk still rattles

I used like 25 suar feet of second skin damping material on my trunk lid and surounding areas and my trunk still rattles i smoothed it out and wverthing still rattles......is there any way to stop the rattling?

Tighten the latch, check the gasket for air leaks.

well since they are made by honda, that means by nature that they are gonna have flappy and poorly secured stuff everywhere, just like in my civic. bah its bad but there are no 2 ways about it

did you cover every part of the lid? cuz on my hondas lid there are little holes that i would have to put stuff into.

yeah bacically my trunk lid was rattleing so I put like 6 lyers and it didnt seem to help

The car was totaled when it first left the lot( i know this thanks to carfax) and i think ill get a suv later anyway its just that the trunk is hel;la heavy now and it still rattles

Sounds to me like you latch is rattling. I would try laying like a rag or something over just the latch and closing the trunk lid onto that. I tried that and it stopped my trunk from rattling a lil bit.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

hmmmm thx ill try that.... any other sugestions... i Know the window is rattling i havent gotten to damp the rear panel yet that bacically what im saving the rest for
