well it depends where its at. my buddy was paying $700 for a 1 bedroom in SD. he just moved upstairs into a 2 bedroom with his kid and gf. now he pays $900. its not the greatest neighborhood, but its not a slum either. worst thing thats happened is he got his work van broken into, and one of his neighbors got his apt burglarized. nothing that doesnt happen in all the other cities. most of the nice areas though are up in the $1500 for 2 bedrooms. i cant afford that shit.
