ahh sony headunit got SOAKED in rain!

i left the windows down in my car and my headunit got SOAKED. this happened as of 10 minutes ago. when will it be safe to install the cd player into my car and turn it on? i mean when i turned it upside down, water came out of it. it was freakin pouring outside.

will my cd player be ok? can i still use it at all? when will i be able to have it work?

sorry im like freaking out, it was 300 dollars ahhhhhhhh

let dry for a while.

i mean a long while....

dont keep it in the sun or anything, but keep it un er bedroom floor or somethin, and give it...a day, and check on it, if it seems cold/wet...give it a bit longer.

but it should be ok

that is promising for me! even if it wont be ok, at least you made me feel better about this.

how will i know when the insides are dry though? maybe i should give it like 2 days just to be safe. would it be bad to run a hair dryer or something over it a few seconds? just to get some hot air in there? should i try stripping it down any to get some more parts exposed to air? arrrggggg i am such a moron!!!
