I took my DMM to the amplifier speaker ports to measure the ohm's...(its a mono amplifier with 4 speaker ports). So I took the positive and negative ends of the DMM to one pair of the positive and negative subwoofer inputs and got the following reading, 3.34ohm's.
If the subwoofers are SVC 2-Ohm, shouldn't the reading be 2 atleast? And since the four sub inputs are suppose to eliminate the need for parallel wiring, shouldn't it be 1-ohm load on the subwoofer total?
Discuss.
