Aeroports from partsexpress?

How do those aeroports from parts express work? I assume they come with the two ends and you glue them together to whatever length you need?

Do they come with a straight piece that you cut, or do you need to use PVC pipe with them?

comes with the 2 flared ends and pipe and two flanges, alot of ppl just duct tape them so u can change the tuning if u want

depends on which ones you order, but you can buy them as full aeros, flared or not

or you can just buy the ends and find your own tubes, then cut them to length

yes you just need to tape them together

make sure you tape them good, i just pulled my sub out and saw that two of the ports need to be retaped

i would say use duct tape for the time being until you get you desired tuning

yehhh i wouldnt glue them, youll always wanna cut or add or something to them....just some electric tape for me

more than likely they will start to sag and need to be re taped regardless what i have found works is to shoot some real small screws through the rings and into the port to hold it steady wrapped with some duct tape

Yeap. Metal screws work well

Best thing I found by far to hold them together is packing tape....clear packing tape. holds much better then duct tape, esepcially when it's hot out.

A lil secret of mine is to use a lil mist of spray on glue (like some 3M super 77) to help hold the ports together and then tape them with electrical tape. It only take a mist. If you spray too much they won't want to come back apart.
