Aeroport for a 10"

I am going to run a box that RAM designs so kindly told me to use!

However I have one question!

My box is going to be very long, low, and behind the seats of my truck.

I have bucket seats so the aeroport can come in between them from the box. (a real flared aeroport)

Would it be ok to put the woofer directly lined with the port? next to the port, on the top of the box in the middle?

or is that not a good idea and i should keep the port at the corner of the box?
