ive been searching and i cant find the answer so maybe someone can help me....how do you properly tune with aero ports?? do you just figure out the volume of the aero like a regular slot port and do tuning according to that?? im not sure. help please if you can!

y is it if u have more ports the lengths increase compared to less. for instance, i typed in 14 cuft tuned to 34hz with 4 6in flared tubes they would be 15.xxin each but with 2 its only 6.03??

dont forget to calculate the volume of the port when designing a box to get your net size, made a box and forgot to think of port displacement and it took away from my net cubic foot. then it messes up the tuning

more port area=longer port to achieve same tuning

yes, make sure what ever diameter port you have, keep at least that distance away from any walls for good air flow. flared ports reduce port noise, but if you design the port right you shouldt have to much trouble. try putting the port and sub on opposite sides if your really worried about port noise with the non flared ports.
