aero port idea

I am still at the drawing board stage for my apx 18 box. I want good sound quality and I want my 18 to hit the lows but I also want to compete in midwest spl comps. Now if I have four 6 inch aero ports could I cap one, two, or three of them off to easily change my tuning to get my desired results?

Id do this. Get both and plug one for daily...unplug for the burpz.
