It's been a long time since I've had an aftermarket system in my truck and I'm just looking for a little advice. I've got 2 Memphis audio mclass 10" subs that are rated at 300 watts rms at 4 ohm each. I'm looking at getting an alpine pdx-m6 which is rated at 600 watts rms at 4 ohm. Is that amp enough or would I need something else? I'm also looking at getting an alpine ive-w530 head unit or a pioneer 80prs so any thoughts on those or possible alternatives would be greatly appreciated. Links to the products are listed below.
Subs: memphis audio mclass 10's
Amp: alpine pdx-m6
Alpine Head unit: Alpine ive-w530
Pioneer head unit: pioneer deh-80prs
I've already got a clarion xc1410 running 4 door speakers through a sony deck. The problem with the sony deck is it only has 1 RCA output so it makes installation of multiple amps difficult so I really want to get rid of it. This is all going into a 2005 f150 crew cab.
