Bottom line is I'm happy. Bags are easy, but I can't float a hat. I tried floating my flatbill, and it's too heavy. I'm not too upset about that though
I'm just happy I can pull a legit hairtrick with both windows down //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
is your roof still a problem? i really need to get mine fixed, after bracing the backwall it only got worse. you'll probably get more output too if you brace your back wall and roof. i was amazed how much more pressure i could feel afterwards. its louder than when i had the hd3000 in and its on a powerbass 1k now lol

also hows that amp mounted, still on the box?

I braced the roof with 2x4's. No more flex //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Now I need to deaden the doors and fiberglass everything pretty

2x4's on the corners of my box going up, then one across. After that, I took out the rear dome light and wedged one with fabric directly against the metal in the center of my roof. No more flexxxx.

Now just my doors are jelly. So far, the windshield isn't bad

oh ok thats right you're pretty much walled at this point. ill have to figure out either using a lot of deadening or glueing some flat sheets of wood up there, can't just put 2x4s vertical lol

Where's the rattle at? The doors? Mine was my door handles. They're now held still with bungee cords until I can find a better solution, lol.

Now my windows rattle inside the doors when they're rolled down. Not sure how to solve this. They're still in the tracks, so that's not the issue. I can roll them most of the way down, and hold onto a little bit of the glass, and it doesn't rattle. If I'm not holding the glass, they rattle inside the door.

I know you're just on a SQ 4300 right now, but can you pull a hairtrick with 4 18's in your extended cab?

pull the door panel off and there's a (on my 00 anyway, 03-06/07 might be different) holder towards the front of the glass that has two pieces of carpetish thats supposed to hold the window still. get some thin foam strips that are sticky on one side and you can usually stick enough in there to hold the door much tighter. it might go up or down a little slower until it wears in but it keeps it tighter.

you can unbolt it with a 10mm socket

Ok, thanks. I'll have to look into that when I have time to re-do my doors right

I think its the new wood i added to the top of the box to make it a second baffle.

I think the two peices of wood are slapping eachother! Possibly didnt add enough glue.

And to be honest im not sure.. I havent had someone stick there dirty hair by my windows.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I may just put a shirt and see how floppy it gets.
