Murphy did, saying that they would be "better" than DD coils. He could have ordered the "correct spec" coils, but chose not to. They're standard HDD coils.
The subs work, and the girls I demo'd for today sure liked them. I am disappointed that I can't do a legit hairtrick though. That was my goal.
I had a giant box braced well, tuned low, with a lot of port area. I'm running two 18's, a giant amp, and it's sealed off. No idea what I'm doing wrong.
I was listening to my truck in the school parking lot, and they walked up looking at my truck. I'd never talked to them before, but asked if they wanted to hear it. Two of them got in the passenger seat, and the other didn't want to actually sit inside.
