I have a 4ch amp that puts out 225W@4Ohms bridged. It's 75W@4 normal. I have a set of ID Chameleon's and I'm wondering if it's alright to set the gain so I'm getting only 100W@4Ohms Bridged so I don't overdrive the speakers? Is this type of detuning advisable or should I just invest in a new 2ch amp better suited to these speakers? I haven't tried it with a MM yet so I'm not sure if it'll come down that far but I figured I'd ask before wasting my time. Thanks for all your help ahead of time.
