adjusting my amp

i know im going to sound like an *** but i tried to search around....gotta learn somehow

i just bought a MB Quart PAB 1200.1D....it's powering a 1 cadence daytona 12" soon to be 2....i love it....hits great....but idk how to really dial it in....it has LEVEL 6v to .2v.....PHASE SHIFT 0 to 180 degrees....BASS EQ 0db to 9db....SUB SONIC 10 hz to 50 hz....and LPF 35hz to 250 hz.....im sure it depends on the box...anything anybody's got would be great....i know what the bass eq and level do....but help me with the phase shift, sub sonic and lpf....idk what they are...i can see people //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif now

Scroll down on that page and you will find a tutorial someone quoted. It really helped me out. To set yuor gains you are going to want a dmm, I picked up a pretty nice one at sears that was on sale for $12 until feb 2nd.
