Based on nothing? It is based on the fact that companies like JL and Alpine proved themselves enough to be accepted in a wide market....

How extensive is your knowledge in the car audio scene? I saw your thread in which you try and justify yourself to work at best buy.... that was nice

...Where as these small companies are only held up by a small group of people who think it is cool to have something out of the mainstream, then they go out of business. If they were THAT good, they would stay in business....

Companies like these are supported by actual enthusiast. Because they cater to such a small group, they have considerable amount of risk involved in running the company. While I do agree with the fact that a good product is a good product, and it should succeed and expand without question.....sadly that's not how the real world works. Good people with good products/services get shut down constantly. There are too many factors to list that contribute to this cause but it's reality

Seems simple enough to me. I don't need to hear something to formulate an opinion on something. Have you heard EVERY product out there? Highly unlikely, but I'm sure you have opinion of these companies based on other factors.

So based on this logic, first hand knowledge does nothing for you? You rather stand your ground with a solidified viewpoint on something you know NOTHING about all based off of the fact that "well since they went out of business their obviously not good....kicker and alpine rule!!!"

Try and look past what's in front of you next time before you go insulting a company such as this. If you want to belive the only great companies that exist are the one's still in business your horribly closed minded, short sited and extremely ingorant.
