Why do you guys like these companies that were never good enough to sell in stores? It's obvious by them going out of business that they were no good.

I remember when the Brahma first hit the market back in the day....it was THE GOTTA HAVE sub....back when sounddomain had a chat room....that was fun!!

Based on nothing? It is based on the fact that companies like JL and Alpine proved themselves enough to be accepted in a wide market. Where as these small companies are only held up by a small group of people who think it is cool to have something out of the mainstream, then they go out of business. If they were THAT good, they would stay in business. Seems simple enough to me. I don't need to hear something to formulate an opinion on something. Have you heard EVERY product out there? Highly unlikely, but I'm sure you have opinion of these companies based on other factors.

a Brahma or XXX

a Revolution D1500/Better Audio 1600/RE 15.1

and a set of CDT comps up front....

i'm pretty sure I remember adire's old site mentioning how they patented the xbl^2 technology, correct me if I"m wrong
