If it's that much money to you, maybe you shouldn't have spent it on a speaker?

dude 400$ is a lot of money to a lot of people.i mean if u can honestly say,hey 400$ aint much.then ur very lucky.personally my family is pretty well off but 50$ is still a lot to me.if i spend 400$ on my XXX and i get it and its all messed up im gonna be pissed too.i spent long hours working for that money and earned it and want it to work.hes mad his sub dont work and he spent money on it.

I doubt $400 is as much to him as it is to say.......a college kid living on scholarship money and ramen noodles........(me)

i agree $400 is a lot of loot for my 92 camry. and why is everyone attacking this guy he is just telling his side of the story. adire may be a good company but they are not perfect.

Yeah I drive a 2000` Audi because my parents were nice enough to pay for it. That wasn't my choice, and I would be getting the same comments from people if I hadn't taken the car and opted for something less right? Most parents arn't gonna buy their kid "a wofure?" that makes noise and distracts people. No matter how much money my parents have, $400 means a lot to me. And why waste in on one speaker then? Because I love music and bass. My freinds go out and buy a cheap RF and MTX and tell people it's the sweetest thing on earth. I know that there are a couple better woofers out there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif . And do all of you that think i'm crazy for thinking adire isn't a very reputable company think again. Put yourself in my place. This is my first purchase with adire. The first sub came broken from shipping (I can live with that one), but it takes 5 weeks to get a replacement? In all honesty that's a long time. And now i get a refurbished replacement that is broken. I havn't had very good luck with this company. Any person in their right mind would have some large doubts about any company after this.

6 weeks later I have yet to hear a working brahma. Is it worth it?

It happens to a lot of people. Ive dealt with cracked woofers, blown amps, blown subs, blown speakers, ect... its all part of the scene. Best you can do is **** it up and just wait for the day everything is hooked up and you are worry free.

I'd just like to say that just because his family has money, that doesn't mean he isn't allowed to be upset that he lost $400. It takes a long time for a high school student to go to school and work to save up $400 for a sub. He no doubt had to purchase the amp, wiring kit, fuses.. etc as well. He spent a lot of time saving up for this and when he finally gets it (which I'm sure he was waiting like an impatient kid before christmas), it's broken. No biggy he sends it out for a new one. A month and a half later without hearing from Adire he receives another one in the mail that is broken as well. If the poor guy can't rant on a car audio forum, who can he rant to? And how can you say "you're parents are rich, **** it up"? That's just wrong.

thank you jay jaw. And probly solved. Adire sent out a new one (that's what they said i hope it's true) to me. hopefully it will get here soon.

you wanna know my story? its probably worse than yours! i ordered one for a friend and this is what happened.

1)brahma 15 comes bent, courtesy of UPS

2)adire promptly takes it back ... but then its on backorder. now who's fault is that? no ones...they are in high demand and this is a small internet company

3)THE SAME DAY that the new drivers ship to them, they ship it out to me with TWO DAY AIR by UPS...not UPS GROUND, but something that costs a lot more. is that no going out of their way/spending more money?

4)new sub comes...i hand it off to friend. friend cant get a hold of me to install it, takes it to audio shop, they blow it up...now it needs a recone.

5)adire takes it back and does the recone...it takes about a month total. but remember that shipping takes up to 10 days sometimes...and they cant always deal with your order the first day, so it takes a little while.

6)adire sends it back...

just remember that shipping takes a while both ways, so when you say it took six weeks, subtract time for shipping...then subtract time because adire is busy as ****...

then remember that shit happens...just like everyone else said.

edit~and $400 is a shitload for a high school student...especially one like me who doesnt have a job/cant have one and can only make money doing things like yard work...
