Adire Shiva.. pushed by...?

Hey all, sorry im back. And baring a child :-D

8lbs 1 oz, 21Inches long. boy :-D borng June 18th 11:22pm

He's soooo cute!

So, anyways....

um,.. ok.. so basically the best amps for SQ would really be Alpine (heard from mulitple people) or PG, which ever is the better deal..

ss3079 I was referring to the Ti amp. Although the new octane amps dont look 2 shabby. I cant really find and reviews on the **** thing. I would say the alpine would be pretty good for the money. You might wanna look into other amp selections also. ohm loads is major. Fosgate amps wont do a 1ohm load normally, but a crossfire or orion will. actually to be honest you might wanna talk to v8s10 about his crossfire bmf1000 for 270$ shipped.

wow, with this in mind.

:quote:Depending on the enclosure size, 300 watts RMS per driver will probably be too much. Also a Q .707 enclosure (a maximally flat alignment) at 64 liters (over two cubic feet, per driver) will probably be too too large for most peoples vehicles. We recommend around a 1.5 cubic foot sealed box (a little over a .8 Qb) as a good Shiva alignment in car. In that sized enclosure, it only takes 200 watts to reach the linear limits of the driver at 20 hz.

pretty interesting huh!. So i can do 2ohm!!! :-D

Even 1 Ohm. Well than.. since all i have to decide on is what level to run it at.

What amps should i keep at.. PG, Alpine, Orion, i have a few othes.

and after deciding whats the best for me of them.. i look at the price,

well im still thinking to have the availability of high watts,

What about just Geting a 2channel .. running them parallel. Probably Sound MUCH better, *tring to get that surround sound thing*

Im pretty sure those shivas would take more then that kinda power. I would say they would be able to handle a good solid 500watts. The crossfire amp isnt a bad choice at all. Orion is gonna be expensive depending on the series you get. What are you talking about with surround sound? Surround sound has nothing to do with your amp or subs. Its pretty much your speakers and speaker amp along with a center channel speaker.

I listen to rave music and dance and ... stuff like that.

It helps to have this setup for the music i listen to.. get an alternating (L/R channel) bass.
