Super SQ sub is almost an understatement with Shiva. They are made to work off low power while keeping absurd SQ and low end. Of course, you need hellishly big boxes for them. Perfect for HT.

Man i miss my shiva too , i had it in around a 2.5 cube box @ 28hz , sounded amazing off 300 watts, i should buy this one .....

All the older shivas are 12", and dual 8ohm.

id rather have an IDQ over it. i had a tempest [same thing as a shiva but 15"] and i have an IDQ12 and a pair of IDQ15's and id take the idqs over the shiva\tempest anyday.

first reason is the tempest\shiva were DVC8, second reason is you can find the IDQ for the same price if you look hard enough.
