Here within the next few days I plan to start on some pods for my door panel. What I plan to do is just make a mold of the area I want to attach the pod to and then build off of that and once done attach the pod to the door panel....What would I use to attach it to the door panel? I was thinking some duramix or similar.

Exactly like that. Do you have any pics of the mounting by chance or is it possible you could give a bit more info; and one more thing. When you fleeced over it did it take shape/contour like that on its own or did you have to do alittle something extra do get it to do that.

you use the mounting rings as the height and wehn you wrap it that gives you the 3d. From there you build up low spots and sand down high spots with filler or whatever. MY personal choice is 50% kitty hair 50% resin. If you look at the kickpanel tutorial itll help you get it.

I built off the existing factory removable door panel to get the shape like that. Just added a backing plate behind the area where the speaker rings are mounted to seal it up. The bolts are simply placed where thye have a good solid surface on both pieces, and out of the way of anything that might interfere with the door itself. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
