adding four 1 ohm resistors to sub to higher the ohms?

did you set gains correctly? if not then you're probably clipping the amp so it goes into protect

I found out the problem today, and mostly everyone here was right. It is my electrical system. I went and opene the trunck and listened to the sub. Right when the voltage starts going down below 12, the bass decreases and starts popping and then it goes to protect. The voltage was actually dropping down to 11.4. My ground and everything else was good. That amp is just drawing too much current. Im guessing I need to add a second battery or a new ho alt.

Err a 1-ohm resistor dummy load that can take a few hundred watts would be the size of two old XBox 1 controllers and the are expensive. It would be a waste of money and time and power.

Just go get the right amp or sub.
