adding fan to amps

Where can i buy a small fan to put into my amp...i know a guy that can do all sorts of things he fix amps and he told me if i can find 1 or 2 small fans and if the amp that i buy has enough clearance for it he can customize something for me.....any ideas...........someone told me laptop PC fans????????

Video card fans, and Chipset fans work great. Really cheap and pretty effective.

The trick is to run a small Bosch-type relay on the remote line to power the fan. Otherwise, you stand a good chance of running down your car battery by accident.

who knows without seeing the amps clearances. Smaller fans will be easier to work with, but will obviously not provide as much cooling.

If your amp isnt over heating, it isnt exactly needed.

But it is good to have the extra cooling...
