Wassup Yall, I have a 2002 Montero Sport. I have been going stock for a while but now I decided that I want to upgrade. I basically want a nice clean sounding system with nice mids and highs, I already have an Alpine CD9825 that plays my Ipod and XM. I don't need to have it loud. My budget is to stay around the $1000 range. I just want to upgrade the the fronts and maybe a nice humble sub. Can you recommend me if I should go with components and what brand. I was at Cartoys yesterday and was eyeing on the Focals they say the Eclipse compos are nice also but was not setup for demo. Also Im not sure what to go with a 4 channel amp with the bass for have to seperate amps one for the 4 speakers and one for the sub Will using the dynamat for the fronts make a difference for my mids? Can you recommend me good sub and amps. Ultimately I want to have the best value for the dollar. If it goes over a $1000 thats okay I guess but I want to stay close to it as possible.
