is it just me or does it seem like theres always some kind of upgrade to be done always something you wanna buy car audio wise..... Always

I swear its addicting. It always seem like im never gonna be done and.. Haha I admit i spend so much **** money on car audio. But Owell I love it with a passion

anyone else like this?

I am just starting putting together my first system and even a couple days after i get something new installed I always think about what i could buy that would out do it.

Back when I was a teenager and I wanted to upgrade from the OEM AM/FM/8-track (my 1st car was a '74-model AMC Matador) so I went and bought an aftermarket AM/FM/Cassette unit.

I was under the mistaken impression that the simple ability to listen to my cassettes in the car would be enough.

Silly me....

Yes, I spend money even when I don't have it. I upgrade all the time, I also buy stuff without researching, and sadly I'm usually dissapointed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif .

not just car audio, everything related to audio:D

it becomes too expensive after a while...upgrade this, but u need this to have this and this, never ends ...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

still puts a smile when everything is done.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

yeah, i went on a headphone trip when i started college. went through quite a few and ended up with $200 earbuds. then i sold them, then i bought another pair, now i just sold those //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif i still have about half a dozen headphones sitting around //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

when i got a car this spring i bought a HU, assassin subs, two profile amps, sealed box and infinity coaxials. about $700 i think, not too bad.

since then i've gone through two ported boxes and now i'm back with the first one, gotten a new amp (x600.1) and now sold it, also just sold the profile monoblock, sold the subs, blew the infinity coaxials, gone to pioneer revs, and now i have two arsenals and a 1700w soundstream amp coming my way!!!!!

Pretty much everything is like this. I have a very addictive peronality so i take everything to the obsessive degree. Hrm lets see what ive been obsessed with in the past and spent a shit load of money on.

BMX (for about 4 years)

Skateboarding

Snowboarding

Mountain Biking

Wrestling (5 years)

Motocross (10 years and counting...talk about money pit....)

Street bikes (last year or so)

Bodybuilding (Since i was 17, did a competition and now im just lifting for fun)

Car Audio (got into it at 16, fell out for 2 years, and now im BACK)

Untimate Fighting

Drugs here and there...

Thats all i can think of for now...

i'm grateful for what i have and see no need to upgrade if i dont have to.( unless it's a uber good deal)..though it's always nice to treat yourself once and a while......

h/u: 4 years, still has better stats than 3/4 of the units out now

front stage: Really the only thing i've messed with in a while besides subs...though only 3-4 times in 5 years

sub amp: 3 years

4 ch: 2 yr's

rear fill: 5 years

subs: gone through 4 sets in the last 4 years
